A twelve-year Army veteran and participant in Desert Storm, Derrick Chandler relocated from Memphis, Tennessee to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2003.  In Memphis, Derrick held the position as Warehouse and Logistics Manager for Cameron and Barkley, a large distributor of MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) supplies. Derrick’s responsibilities were to oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch tooling used primarily by its largest customer, Cummins Engines.  At Cameron and Barkley, Derrick ensured productivity targets were met and maintained computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems, as well as exceeded workplace health and safety requirements.

Soon after relocating, Derrick was hired as a Client Advocate with Ditan Distribution in Plainfield, IN. Derrick’s responsibilities included serving as a key liaison for three of its largest retail clients. He created and implemented their order flow and coordinated inter-organizational requirements, by troubleshooting and providing solutions with satisfactory resolution.  Derrick joined Rivers Resources as VP of Sales Operations in 2009 and is responsible for new customer accounts and nurturing relationships within the business community.  Derrick’s role has gained new relationships with the City of Indianapolis, as well as the State of Indiana.

Derrick attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Derrick is married to LaTricia Hill-Chandler and they have one daughter, Dyllan DeAnn.
